My favorite model

He's always there, he's always willing to pose for me, he tries his best not to move, and he is gorgeous to draw. I was inspired by Roz Stendahl who kept 43, yes 43!!, journals of her dog Dottie http://www.rozworks.com/dot.html. Those pages are awesome studies, and it became clear to me that it's a great routine to have. A client of mine have given me a beautiful bound book with pages of different quality and weight, and I thought what better way than to do the same as Roz, and improve my drawing skills on a daily basis.
I really like the study above, it has a sort of sumi look. And Malik did not move the whole time!
