Malik turned 5 yesterday. We did an hour walk on Haggen Trail in Cache Creek. But he had to spend the afternoon at the vet, where they sedated him to suck a seed out of his ear. Cost of the present: $300, no fun, but he has new clean ears! He was quite quiet in the evening, recovering from that no-fun time. I took the opportunity to celebrate him my way. I love this sketch, it's so much like him.
