Voyage in the Pacific Northwest

I just spent 2 weeks on the San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island, which was delightful. The light is different than here, the fog is mysterious, the ocean magical and the eye can wander without being stopped. I spent a couple of hours on a beach sketching and sunning a little. Beaches are always full of treasures. I was being observed by a sea lion that eventually decided I was fine.

On our way west, I spent time looking around and found all sorts of details to report. This is fun and it makes the 1000 miles go by fast.
